Netflix released the animated series Dead End: Paranormal Park on June 16th, 2022. The series is based on creator Hamish Steele's graphic novel series DeadEndia and Cartoon Hangover's Too Cool! Cartoons web short, Dead End. Dead End: Paranormal Park is notable for its representation of LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse characters.
The cast of Dead End: Paranormal Park has an interesting array of different experiences, everything from Broadway musicals like Beetlejuice The Musical and Cabaret, to Marvel movies. There are some diverse and familiar faces put to the voices.

Barack plays Barney, the trans boy who runs away to live and work at Phoenix Park in Dead End: Paranormal Park. Barack is a talented actor, stand-up comedian, and songwriter. He became the first openly transgender actor in a Marvel film when he played Zach Cooper in Spider-Man: Far From Home. The film is about Peter Parker, MJ, and Ned going on a school trip to Europe. Peter plans to just relax on the trip until strange elemental creatures attack.SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Barack's Zach Cooper is a small role in the film as one of Peter Parker's classmates, but it's still a very important step forward in regard to trans representation. Hopefully, Barack could reprise his role again in a larger capacity, and it will lead to more trans and LGBT representation in Marvel projects. Barack's other notable roles include Frankie Meeks in the podcast The College Tapes and Nico in Transparent.
Kody Kavitha - Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018 - 2020)
Stream On Netflix
Kavitha plays Norma Khan, an autistic girl who loves Pauline Phoenix and Phoenix Park, and works there with Barney in Dead End: Paranormal Park. Kavitha has lots of previous experience doing voice work, one of her most well-known roles being Sunita on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The series is a reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, in which the mutant turtle brothers go on new adventures in NYC.
Kavitha's Sunita is a seemingly average girl who is actually a mutant made of slime. She desperately wants to be normal so she can go around the city without being captured by the foot clan. Sunita has things in common with Norma Khan in that they can both be giddy and anxious. Sunita is giddy for trying human things and Norma for anything Pauline Phoenix and Phoenix Park-related. Sunita is anxious about wanting to blend in so she isn't captured and Norma is anxious about interacting with people she does not know. Other recent credits for Kavitha include Teenage Euthanasia and Archibald's Next Big Thing Is Here.
Alex Brightman - Beetlejuice The Musical (2019 - 2022)
Brightman plays both Pugsley, the magical talking dog, and Temeluchus the demon, who possesses him, in Dead End: Paranormal Park. While Brightman has played roles on screen - such as the recent Fizzarolli in Helluva Boss, he is most well known for playing the title role in Beetlejuice The Musical. Beetlejuice The Musical, based on the Burton movie, is about a recently deceased couple and a grieving teenage girl named Lydia asking for help from Beetlejuice, the demon bio-exorcist.
Brightman's Beetlejuice is a complicated character. He wants to be alive because he was born undead and is lonely, however as a result of never having been alive he constantly wants to murder people. Brightman's Beetlejuice is similar in certain ways to Pugsley and Temeluchus. All three of these characters have some form of supernatural powers. Another similarity is that Brightman uses the same voice for Temeluchus as Beetlejuice.
Emily Osment - Young Sheldon (2022)
Stream On HBO Max
Osment plays Courtney the homesick demon on Dead End: Paranormal Park. Osment has played a number of recurring roles on TV series but her most recent is Mandy McAllister in Young Sheldon. Young Sheldon is a prequel to The Big Bang Theory, about Sheldon Cooper and his family.
Osment's Mandy may seem like a very different character to Courtney at first, but they do have some things in common. While Mandy is a human ex-weather girl and Courtney is a demon, they both live in places they don't want to. Mandy lives with her parents after she lost her job as a weather girl. Courtney is forced to live in Phoenix Park when she would rather be living back at home in hell. Other notable earlier roles include Gabi Diamond in Young & Hungry and Lilly in Hannah Montana.
Clinton Leupp (Miss Coco Peru) - Girls Will Be Girls (2003)
Stream On Amazon Prime
Leupp plays Pauline Phoenix, the owner of Phoenix Park on Dead End: Paranormal Park. Leupp is primarily a drag performer known for his alter ego Miss Coco Peru. Miss Coco Peru appeared prominently in the movie Girls Will Be Girls, which is about three actresses in Hollywood dealing with romance, age, and ambition. More recently Miss Coco Peru has appeared in Will and Grace.

Leupp's Coco in Girls Will Be Girls is a lonely spinster who is in love with a doctor who performed surgery on her years ago. Interestingly Coco in Girls Will Be Girls is very different from how Miss Coco Peru normally is. Where in the movie Coco is downtrodden, Miss Coco Peru is usually much sassier. Both of these versions of Coco are very different from Pauline Phoenix, however. Pauline Phoenix is a villain who possesses her impersonators in order to gain immortality, while both versions of Coco are more sympathetic.
Kenny Tran - Isaac (2020)
Available To Rent On AppleTV
Tran plays Logan "Logs" in Dead End: Paranormal Park. Tran has only a few on-screen roles so far - Isaac in the film short Issac, and Peter in We The Internet TV. He is also known for his work on stage as the lead in the US premiere of the musical, Maybe Happy Ending.

While Tran has not had many roles on screen yet, perhaps his role as "Logs" will give him more exposure to audiences. "Logs" was more of a side character but played an important part in Barney's character development. As "Logs" is being set up to be Barney's boyfriend, he could play a much bigger part if there are future seasons of Dead End: Paranormal Park.
Kathreen Khavari - Avengers Assemble (2012 - 2019)
Streaming On Disney+
Khavari plays Badyah in Dead End: Paranormal Park. Khavari has a variety of voice roles, most prominently Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan in Avengers Assemble, an animated series about the Avengers team. Khavari also more recently appeared in the podcast Classified and in an episode Craig of the Creek. She also had a reoccurring role as Samantha in Big Little Lies and the title role in Famous Farrah.
Khavari's Kamala Khan and Badyah have very similar personalities in that they are both slightly dorky and over-enthusiastic about things they are interested in. This is despite the fact that Kamala Khan is a superhero while Badyah is a normal employee of Phoenix Park. Time will tell if this stays this way, or if perhaps Badyah will have an encounter with the supernatural.
Alan Cumming - Cabaret (1993 / 1998 / 2014)
Stream On YouTube
Cumming plays Harmony - Demonic Feaster on Fear in Dead End: Paranormal Park. Cumming has numerous appearances on stage and screen, but the role he is most known for is playing the Emcee in Cabaret. The show tells the story of Sally Bowles, an English singer at the Kit Kat Club in 1929. Some of Cumming's more recent work includes Mayor Aloysius Menlove in Schmigadoon! and Alex Tawley in the podcast Solar.
Cumming's Emcee and Harmony are the inverses of each other. The Emcee comes across as dark and ambiguous at first but then is revealed at the end of the show to be a prisoner of a Nazi concentration camp, which makes him come across much more sympathetic. Harmony seems like a harmless, friendly - if slightly annoying - hippie, however in reality he is an evil demon who manipulates people to consume their fear.
