Star Wars' Bo-Katan Actor Expertly Dodges Ahsoka Show Cameo Question
Though her live-action future seems bright, Star Wars' Bo-Katan Kryze actor Katee Sackhoff is expertly dodging questions about making an Ahsoka show cameo. Sackhoff made her debut in the franchise with the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, in which she appeared as the leader of the Death Watch, a terrorist faction of Mandalorians eager to restore their planet to its ancient ways. Sackhoff would reprise her role in Star Wars: Rebels and go on to make her live-action Star Wars debut in The Mandalorian season 2, where she would cross paths with Pedro Pascal's titular hero in her search to recover the Darksaber from Moff Gideon.SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY
Plot details for Ahsoka are currently being kept under wraps, though the show is said to act as a sequel to Star Wars: Rebels and continue the titular heroine's journey hunting down former Imperial Admiral Thrawn. Rosario Dawson is returning to lead the cast of the show after portraying Ahsoka in The Mandalorian season 2 and The Book of Boba Fett, with fellow Star Wars vet Hayden Christensen also reportedly returning as Anakin Skywalker with franchise newcomers including Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Ray Stevenson as an undisclosed admiral and Ivanna Sakhno and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in undisclosed roles. With a roster full of iconic Star Wars animated characters already confirmed to appear in the series, one star is doing their best to keep a lid on their potential Ahsoka appearance.

Given Bo-Katan was a major player in both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Rebels, the latter of which seems to serve as the major story continuation for the show, it's understandable some would believe Sackhoff would be returning for Ahsoka. Additionally, with her Mandalorian character having formed an alliance with Dawson's animated counterpart, voiced by Ashley Eckstein, in order to liberate her home planet from Darth Maul after initially partnering with him to overthrow her sister, there is precedent for the two to reunite for the upcoming Star Wars show. With Bo-Katan's time in Star Wars: Rebels having also left her with a positive relationship with Sabine Wren, who is making her live-action debut in Ahsoka, one could hope these fan-favorite characters get their time to shine on screen together.
With the Disney+ series still in production, a lot of details regarding the Ahsoka show are still up in the air, save for the brief sizzle reel screened at this past month's Star Wars Celebration confirming the returns of multiple Rebels characters, including Ezra Bridger. Even if Sackhoff doesn't return for Ahsoka, her future in the Star Wars franchise is still bright as the actor has confirmed a major part in The Mandalorian season 3, which is scheduled to premiere in February 2023. While audiences await further details on Ahsoka leading up to its 2023 release, they can revisit Sackhoff's tenure in the franchise streaming on Disney+ now.
